Recently, we had an exciting opportunity to undertake a project on behalf of Harbour View Construction, a local Poole building company.

The project involved fitting new carpets and luxury vinyl tiles in eight flats, including the common areas of the building, and five houses. Our client required a range of flooring solutions that would provide comfort, durability, and style as well as meeting the soundproofing requirements of the flats.

For the eight flats, we installed new Cadet Grey carpets, from the Apollo Elite range by established carpet manufacturer Cormar Carpets, in the lounge, bedrooms, and hallways. For the kitchens, we opted for White Oak Luvanto Click Plus LVT flooring which offers built-in underlay, effectively meeting the soundproofing requirements of the properties. Our project management team ensured that the installation process was smooth, efficient, and timely, delivering results that surpass our client’s expectations.

The communal areas leading to the flats had carpet tiles, stair nosings, and ribbed entrance matting installed. These improvements will ensure enhanced safety and comfort for the residents, while the aesthetic appeal remains intact.

For the project’s five houses, we again installed Cadet Grey carpets in the lounge, bedrooms, stairs, and landings. We also fitted the hallways and kitchen/diner areas with LVT flooring, using stunning New England Elm from Polyflor’s high-quality and durable Colonia PUR range of flooring products. These flooring solutions offer a combination of style, comfort, and long-term performance, ensuring a comfortable and cosy ambience for the residents.
